A limited number of units at the DeWolfe Street Apartments are available for license to Harvard College undergraduate students during part of the summer. These buildings are owned by Harvard University Housing (HUH), and leased to the College.
Students interested in living in DeWolfe summer housing must be a current Harvard College undergraduate student1.
1 A student enrolled for the spring 2017 and/or fall 2017 term(s). Incoming freshmen students are not eligible for summer housing in DeWolfe.
Due to the limited number of spaces available, preference will be given to continuing as opposed to graduating students.
Students who are currently studying abroad, on a leave of absence or who have been required to withdraw from the College must have submitted a fall returning student application by the prescribed deadline and received an affirmative vote from the Administrative Board (if applicable) to return for the fall 2016 semester. Students requiring an Administrative Board vote to return are responsible for being in touch with their Dean to ensure this occurs prior to the license period below.
The DeWolfe summer housing license period is: Monday, June 5 - Friday, August 4, 2017.
Due to the unique college environment, including other activities/events occurring on campus and the need to prepare space prior to and after summer housing occupancy, the license period is non-negotiable. Students requiring housing outside of the dates of these dates must secure other off campus accommodations.
Each apartment contains 2 bedrooms (2 beds each) and shared bathroom, living room1 and kitchen facilities. Each student is provided with a twin, extra-long bed and mattress, dresser, desk, desk chair, bookcase, floor lamp and closet space.
1 Only apartments affiliated to Dunster (DU) House (10 DeWolfe, 4th, 5th & 6th floors), Leverett (LE) House (20 DeWolfe, 5th floor) & Quincy (QU) House (20 DeWolfe, 1st & 2nd floors) have furnished living rooms - all other apartments have unfurnished living rooms. Furnished living rooms have a sofa, two upholstered chairs and a coffee table.
Apartment kitchens contain the following appliances: full size refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven and dishwasher. Students may provide their own microwave. Pots, pans, dishes and other utensils are not provided.
Common laundry facilities are located in both buildings. Apartments are air conditioned.
Rates & Payments
Rates are based on the total number of total occupants assigned:

- Students enrolled for the fall 2017 term will have their summer housing rate posted to their term bill in mid-July.
- Students enrolled for the spring 2017 term, who are not enrolled for the fall 2017 term (excluding students who are studying abroad during the fall 2017 term) and graduating students are required to remit a money order or cashier's check, payable to "Harvard University" within five (5) business days of the date of their housing offer. Payments not received within five business days will result in cancellation of a student's housing offer. Please remit payment in-person to Brian M.
