An organizational activity should be registered at least three weeks in advance if it has any of the following attributes:
- Attendance of 100+ (other than general organizational business, e.g. meetings)
- Admission fee
- Sale of goods
- Outdoor venue
Events in Lowell Lecture Hall, Memorial Hall/Sanders, Agassiz Theatre, New College Theatre, or the Dance Center do not need to be registered, even if they meet the above criteria, as the production staff handle all logistics.
Through event registration, the Dean of Students Office helps coordinate licenses with the City of Cambridge, HUPD details, bartenders, ticketing through the Harvard Box Office, and other event support.
