My primary role in the Dean of Students Office is to help incoming and current first-year students get access to the resources they need on campus. I edit the weekly first-year newsletter, the Yard Bulletin, and I coordinate the first-year loan programs, which include kitchen equipment, board and lawn games. I also train and support our student interns, manage room reservations for the first-year common rooms, assist proctors, and answer general inquiries for the DSO.
I love being outside in any weather, walking, singing, exploring new places, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.
I have been helping first-year students at Harvard since 2008 when I started with the Class of 2012. Prior to that, I worked for a year and a half in the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School. I have also worked in educational TV and film post-production in Boston and New York.
