Kate Colleran is the Assistant Dean for Student Engagement and Leadership. New to Harvard, Kate oversees the "big picture" when it comes to Harvard student organizations such as policy implementation, assessment, and engagement culture on campus. She also works with the Recognized Social Organizations. Kate and her team manage the Student Organization Center at Hilles (SOCH) building as well as the Cambridge Queen's Head pub and the QRAC.
Kate has previously held positions at Duke University, Clark Community College, Brown University, and Champlain College. She loves helping students find involvements they are passionate about and has a background in student activities, leadership development, Orientation/first-year programming, and community service work. Kate attended Saint Michael's College for her Bachelor's degree and has a Master's from Boston College. She has a dog she adores, is continually trying to increase the numbers of countries she has been to, and enjoys eating ice cream for dinner.
