The Emerging Leader Award is given to up to three freshmen who have demonstrated outstanding involvement and initiative during their first year on campus. They should show great promise and enthusiasm in their area(s) of leadership on campus. The awardees should be involved in campus activities and have assumed responsibility in their areas of participation.
The Spirit of Harvard College Award is given to up to three undergraduate students who have shown a commitment to the ideals articulated in the Mission of Harvard College over the past academic year. This award recognizes significant campus leadership contributions to integrate the intellectual, social, and personal transformation toward the betterment of all Harvard College students.
The Veritas Award is given to one senior who shows dedication to facilitating and bettering campus culture as well as embodying the Mission of the College. The award is a reflection on their contributions over their four years at Harvard College. The student should show significant commitment to being an innovative, creative, and inclusive leader. Ultimately, the award captures how well the student was able to live and lead authentically to positively contribute to the Harvard community.
The Inclusive Community Award is given to the Student Organization that shows a genuine commitment to creating an inclusive space on campus for varying identities and perspectives.
The Collaboration Award is given to the Student Organization that shows outstanding effort in collaborating with other student organizations on campus to facilitate positive interaction between groups that may not typically work together.
The Innovation Award is given to the Student Organization that demonstrates exceptional creativity and innovation within their organizations, including the creation of new systems, structures, or goals.
